Nearly 10 years ago I used a method very similar to this to calculate my weight. I discovered it as part of a program called the Hackers Diet. At first, I used a spreadsheet with with embedded formulas to do the calculations. Then I found a Palm Pilot application (The Eat Watch) that did the same thing, only better. Its nice to see a simple and effective tool like that one updated for the iPhone.
I lost 70 pounds following the "Hackers Diet". Its a no nonsense approach to losing weight and increasing your fitness level. Count calories (eat less). Work out (exercise more). Record and monitor your progress by getting on the scale EVERYDAY (this is where True Weight will help).
